This article caught my attention. The focus is on a study done in Australia and the findings show a great contributing factor to heart disease is inactivity, especially for the 30 and over crowd. A good goal is to eat healthy and move more.


Heart disease is the single biggest killer of women and inactivity is the biggest contributor to heart disease for all but the youngest ones, according to Australian researchers.

They parsed the sources of cardiovascular risk among women of all ages in Australia and found smoking, obesity and high blood pressure are near the top of the list. But if all sedentary women ramped up their activity levels, the largest number of deaths would be averted. Click here to learn more.
